Point Defiance Park

Point Defiance, is a great place to get out and walk around with the whole family. This size of this park is amazing. With a Zoo, and the Bay, Hiking trails, trees and grass and ponds everywhere. 
 
 
 

Freezing but Awesome

Ok I admit I froze the entire time as well. But it was beautiful and overlooking the bay was just amazing. You can almost feel the history of this place. When all the trade ships came in and out of here. Some of the views in the place even with a cheap camera, you can get some really great picture.
It was so cold here that the ducks were walking around on the ice in the pond.
 Being that the rain finally stopped just for a little bit we took advantage of it and really checked this place out. When the Sun is out I have to say it was amazing. My poor kids froze the whole time though.
 
 

Beds of Roses

 

This park also has the garden area. Can't remember the name of it right now. But for those that literally want to stop and smell the Roses. This is perfect. Of course they only bloom once a year. We went through here late Spring and into the Summer.
The Bed of Roses was a nice touch as well.
